ASME is now accepting electronic poster (ePoster) submissions for its upcoming 2014 Advanced Design and Manufacturing Impact Forum, to be held Aug. 17-20 in Buffalo, N.Y. More than 1,000 thought leaders from the konzeption and manufacturing fields are expected to convene at the event, which will be co-located with the ASME 2014 International Design and Engineering Technical Conferences Computers and Information in Engineering Conference (IDETC/CIE 2014).The four-day Impact Forum is designed for senior-level executives and managers, compliance officers, governmen t-relations specialists, as well as engineers, designers, technologists and marketers who would like to engage with industry experts and participate in discussions on the following program topics advanced manufacturing, computer-aided engineering, 3D printing, aerospace, automotive technologies, medical devices, and robotics. The University at Buffalo is the host sponsor for the Advanced Design and Manufacturing Impact Forum, which will be held at the Buffalo-Niagara Convention Center.An alternative to the conventional poster presentation, ePosters allow the presenter to more visually and effectively convey information and engage with the audience.Abstracts focused on program topics must be submitted by March 15 to be considered for the Impact Forum.
